Pour cette soir\u00e9e d\u2019op\u00e9ra, Opera Fuoco a con\u00e7u un pastiche musical compos\u00e9 de deux \u0153uvres majeures du r\u00e9pertoire baroque : Fairy Queen de Purcell, musique de sc\u00e8ne \u00e9crite pour une pi\u00e8ce de th\u00e9\u00e2tre inspir\u00e9e du Songe d\u2019une nuit d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 de Shakespeare et la Cantate 201 de Bach \u00ab Geschwinde, ihr wirbelnden Winde \u00bb, la plus th\u00e9\u00e2trale des oeuvres \u00e9crites par le compositeur de Liepzig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ARGUMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans\u00a0 une for\u00eat enchant\u00e9e, Titania et Oberon se chamaillent, comme \u00e0 leur habitude, \u00e0 propos cette fois de musique. Oberon souhaite \u00e9couter la musique de Phoebus, c\u00e9leste et a\u00e9rienne, tandis que les amis de Titania r\u00e9clament les sons dansants et festifs de Pan. Afin de trouver un compromis entre les deux royaut\u00e9s, Puck sugg\u00e8re d\u2019organiser une joute musicale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est ici que Fairy Queen de Purcell et la Cantate profane de Bach se retrouvent li\u00e9s. Cette \u00abcharmante nuit\u00bb se sert de l\u2019\u0153uvre de Bach comme d\u2019une pi\u00e8ce dans la pi\u00e8ce. Phoebus devient le d\u00e9fenseur d\u2019Oberon et Pan se bat pour la musique favorite de Titania. La dispute se termine au lever du soleil, Titania c\u00e8de et Oberon se r\u00e9jouit de la victoire de Phoebus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
