BACH (1736)<br>FELIX MENDELSSOHN BARTHOLDY (1841 Version)<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-helvetica-font-family has-custom-font has-custom-size has-custom-font\" style=\"font-family:Helvetica;font-size:16px\">Avec son double choeur et ses deux orchestres, <em>La Passion selon Saint-Matthieu<\/em> offre une narration musicale de l\u2019histoire biblique de la Passion qui atteint des sommets d\u2019intensit\u00e9 et d\u2019expressivit\u00e9 v\u00e9ritablement op\u00e9ratiques. <br>Tomb\u00e9e dans l\u2019oubli pendant un si\u00e8cle, la partition est magistralement ressuscit\u00e9e par Felix Mendelssohn (\u00e0 Berlin en 1829, puis \u00e0 Leipzig en 1841). <br>Chef, compositeur et dramaturge visionnaire, il en livre une relecture romantique, tendue et passionn\u00e9e, parfaitement adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 la sensibilit\u00e9 de son \u00e9poque.<br>\u00c0 l\u2019occasion du 300<sup>e<\/sup> anniversaire de ce chef-d\u2019oeuvre monumental, l\u2019ensemble Opera Fuoco et David Stern nous<br>invitent \u00e0 revivre ce jalon d\u00e9cisif de l\u2019histoire de la musique.
