Opera Fuoco presents its new dimension: FUOCO JAZZ. This inaugural program will offer an exciting new mixture of standards and theater songs from the golden years of Broadway and Renaissance England. From Purcell to Gershwin through Dowland and Cole Porter, the musicians of Fuoco Jazz, all trained in both classical and jazz traditions, will collaborate with the promising young singer and former member of Opera Fuoco’s young artist program, Sophia Stern, to offer an updated approach to music over the centuries.
