Kevin Arboleda – Basse

Kevin Camilo Arboleda-Oquendo was born in Medellin, Colombia, and began his singing studies with Luz María Cuenca. As a soloist in Colombia, he has appeared in significant performances including Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Handel's Messiah, and Monteverdi's Vespers of the Virgin.
Following an Erasmus in Belgium (2018-2019), he joined the class of Valérie Guillorit at the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame de Paris (2019-2021), then at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris since 2021.
Alongside his bachelor’s degree in lyric singing and a DEM in organ, Kevin regularly performs in France in productions such as Le Vol du Boli (Théâtre du Châtelet 2021), Dixit Dominus de Haendel (Opéra de Clermont-Ferrand and Opéra de Vichy 2021), Requiem de Mozart (Théâtre des Champs-Elysées 2022), Passion selon Saint Jean de Bach (Opéra de Clermont-Ferrand and Collège des Bernardins 2024) and abroad, during the European tour of Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis 2023, with the Capeilla Reial de Catalunya, under the direction of Jordi Savall (Barcelona, Paris, Dresden) and the US tour of the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame de Paris 2023, singing the solos of the Requiem de Fauré, conducted by Henri Chalet (New York, Cleveland, Atlanta, Huntsville, Dallas and Chicago).
In the coming months, he will perform again with Jordi Savall on a European tour of Haydn’s Seasons (Barcelona, Paris, Toulouse and Dresden) and in August, at the prestigious Salzburg Festival, with Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.
