Michael Spyres is a singer with an extraordinary voice. The American tenor is one of the few opera artists who navigates easily between repertoires with the help of a phenomenal range. He belongs to the category of "baritenore" (as Manuel Garcia or Andrea Nozzari were before him), having a baritone voice with a developed treble that can take on arias that mix elements or areas that belong to both categories with great ease.

This recital caters to Spyers’ exceptional range and features composers such as Mozart, Verdi and Lehar who knew to exploit the vast color palette of the barytenor for their most striking roles. Michael Spyers collaborates with David Stern and the Opera Fuoco Orchestra for this exceptional evening in the series of Les Grandes Voix.
